About
Built in and for the yard.
FleetMark is a vehicle-compliance platform built for the yard, not the boardroom. One stubborn problem, done right: a truthful, signed, dated record of the daily check — done by a driver on a phone, in less time than it takes the kettle to boil.
Origin
The specific problem that made us build this.
The version on the whiteboard is this: a depot manager, a paper clipboard soaked in rain, and a defect dispute that came down to a driver's word against a customer's. Three weeks of back-and-forth. Nothing decisive. The insurance paid because it had to, not because the record said so.
We looked at the software options. Every one of them started from the manager's laptop and worked outwards. None of them started from the driver's phone and worked back. So we built the one that did.
Founding principle
The driver's phone is where compliance wins or loses.
If the check is too slow, it gets skipped. If the record lives somewhere the driver can't get to, it gets fudged. If the tool needs an App Store download, half the drivers never install it. Every one of our decisions comes back to that piece of glass in the driver's hand.
What we won't build
A focused compliance platform — not a sprawling fleet system.
FleetMark covers the highest-frequency compliance jobs done brilliantly: the daily walkaround, defects, audit-ready records, and key-date reminders. That focus is the point — it's why drivers actually finish the check, and why the record holds up.
We're not trying to be your fuel-card manager, your telematics pipe, or your route planner. If something feels like scope creep, it is, and we'll say no.
Who's behind FleetMark
A small UK team.
Built by a small UK team from fleet tech and software — people who've spent time in and around yards, and who'd rather ship one thing that works than ten that don't.
